How to live your life, written by Nobody
Step 1: Read this post
“GET TO THE CHOPPER!”
Hallo, as far as I care, you are reading this and going, ” Gee whiz, I can go for some Cheese whiz right now.” Unlike in most philosophical and moral sense and behavior, there is no guide to living, there isn’t a book called “How to Live” by Arnold Schwarzenegger, but I believe it would go something along the line of “GET TO THE CHOPPER!” In life, people believe that they are starting on a place to somewhere, but the fact is everyone is going some place at a different speed than others. Some people are destined to have a career in the movie business, and others do not.
Step 2: Life is a roller coaster ride, and you are not behind the controls
Ever been kicked to the curb, and you have felt like a nobody? If you said no, then you are lying. Either if you’re 20 or 40 years old there is going to be one drop point to your roller coaster. Life will seem miserable even if its only a day out of your whole life. For many people it is losing the people they love: parents, grandparents, friends, spouses. We all have our own ways to cope with the problem. Some of us will gorge ourselves, others will turn to violence and hit things (or people but let’s not go there). My version is what a lot of people would do, they seek isolation. When I had problems, I’d get up in the middle of the night and climb up onto the roof of my house. The crisp cold air froze my body, whilst I stared up at the moon. The big, glowing circle in the sky just calm in a sea of stars. All and all, as Rocky Balboa would say:
“I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!”
